PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) has appointed its first female deputy director-general of policy.
The appointment of Hakimah Mohd Yusoff, which takes effect today, was to fill the vacancy left by Datuk Mohamad Nordin Ibrahim who became its director-general on May 17.
