PONTIAN: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will tighten the process of issuing driving licences to deter the prevalence of lesen terbang, says its director-general Datuk Seri Shaharuddin Khalid.
“Among the measures we are looking at is improving our computer system to make it harder for certain quarters to abuse it to get lesen terbang,” he said following the arrest of 12 JPJ officers by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission pertaining to the illegally obtained document.
