Jobless man gets 48 months, 2 strokes for robbery spree

KUALA LUMPUR: A 43-year-old jobless man who robbed convenience stores for cigarettes, prepaid reloads and cash has been sentenced to 48 months in jail and two strokes of the rotan by a Sessions Court here.

Siah Chee Ming pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery before Sessions Court judge Emelia Kaswati Mohamad Khalid.
