Improve financial management, Kelantan govt told

PETALING JAYA: Kelantan’s poor financial management has come under fire from Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng, who urged the PAS-led state government to buck up and reduce its dependence on the federal government.

In a statement, Lim pointed out that Kelantan was the biggest recipient of the Financial Deficit Assistance (Bantuan Kewangan Defisit) and the Advance Financial Assistance (Bantuan Kewangan Pendahuluan) totalling RM913mil.
