KOTA KINABALU: An endangered pygmy elephant, which was injured and then rescued from Sabah’s east coast, is being treated at the Borneo Elephant Sanctuary in Kinabatangan.
The elephant is responding well to preliminary treatment but it has to be brought to the sanctuary for further care, says state Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Christina Liew.
