KUALA LUMPUR: The Citizens’ Health Initiative (CHI) think-tank has proposed that the current tax-based financed system is maintained instead of introducing a whole new national health financing scheme.
CHI, an informal grouping of individuals seeking to promote citizen involvement in healthcare reforms and health policy for an equitable, accessible and sustainable quality healthcare, said that it had met with the Council of Eminent Persons (CEP) on Monday (Aug 13) to present its perspective on “The Way Forward for Healthcare in Malaysia”.
