KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman will take a sterner approach in tackling crimes by police personnel, especially offences involving corruption, after 149 from the force detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) last year, said Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
The Inspector-General of Police said he is very upset over such a statistic, despite a slight reduction compared to the previous year, whereby 179 police personnel were detained by MACC.
