PETALING JAYA: The "missing" RM18bil Goods and Services Tax (GST) refunds should be investigated, but there should not be any baseless allegations made, says MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"We support 100% to start a forensic (investigation) or to set up a commission to get answers – but for now, we cannot make assumptions or jump to conclusions that the money has disappeared," he said.
