BUTTERWORTH: A 53-year-old senior administrative assistant from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Penang pleaded not guilty in a Sessions court here to four counts of corruption involving a total of RM8,845.80.
In the first charge, Abdul Kahar Khalid is accused of misusing his position as a public officer by giving a procurement contract to supply printer toners, USB disk drives and stationeries worth RM3,508.80 to Neo Global Enterprise, where his wife Salena Aliass is the owner.
