KUALA LUMPUR: The Government remains committed to abolishing the controversial Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma), which allows for detention without trial.
Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mohamed Hanipa Maidin gave his assurance that the Government would repeal such laws, but could not commit to when it would be done.
