KUCHING: The Sarawak Education Department has been authorised to purchase diesel directly for 371 schools which use generators for power supply.
State Education, Science and Technological Research Minister Datuk Seri Michael Manyin (pic) said the department received a directive on the purchase from the Finance Ministry, dated June 20, to ensure no interruption of diesel supply to the schools.
