Remand for Vietnamese safe-cracking gang extended by seven days

ALOR SETAR: The magistrate's court here has extended the remand for a Vietnamese safe-cracking gang by seven days following its expiration on Tuesday (July 17).

"The remand order will run until July 23 for further investigations under Section 397 of the Penal Code for robbery and Section 457 of the same Act for house-breaking," said Kedah CID chief SAC Mior Farid Alatrash Wahid.
