KL cops arrest 166 for betting on World Cup

KUALA LUMPUR: The police made 166 arrests here for illegal betting during the World Cup season, with one notable stake made amounting to a staggering RM5mil.

City police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim said that up until July 15, city police had conducted 159 raids under Ops Soga VII.
