Boats flying Warisan flag exempt from checks? Not true, says Esscom chief

KOTA KINABALU: Social media claims that fishing boats and others vessels flying the flag of Parti Warisan Sabah were not subjected to checks by security forces are not true, said Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) commander Datuk Hazani Ghazali.

Hazani was dismissing claims in a widely-shared picture of a boat flying a Warisan flag, with an accompanying message that such boats will not be checked as they were above the law.
