PETALING JAYA: An Umno presidential debate among key contenders in the run-up to the party polls on June 30 may be taking shape, with even an offer by the Government to televise it on RTM.
Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah had thrown a challenge to the other contenders for a debate, which has been accepted by Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin, but Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi – the most senior party leader vying to helm Umno – declined to comment when asked if he would take part.
