KOTA KINABALU: Embattled former Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman has given up his home base by declining to defend his Libaran Umno division chief post in the upcoming party polls.

The surprise move comes after Musa and his former ally Datuk Juslie Ajirol and political rival Datuk Akbar Khan Abdulrahman were nominated to contest the position that Musa has held since the 1990s.
