PETALING JAYA: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) Youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has defended Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's statement claiming that Khairy Jamaluddin is qualified to be the Umno president.
Syed Saddiq said the statement made by its chairman was not sarcasm but instead was a challenge to Khairy to contest the Umno top post.
