PORT KLANG: The French government has never apologised for the 1985 bombing of the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior that took the life of shipmate Fernando Pereira despite demands from the non-governmental organisation.
Captain Pete Wilcox, who was the captain of the ship at the time, said he had raised the issue with a French ambassador but was told that an apology would not arrive.
