Sarawak's Chong, Baru Bian to be appointed to Cabinet?

KUCHING: Speculation is rife that Sarawak Pakatan Harapan chairman Chong Chieng Jen and state PKR chief Baru Bian could be roped into the Federal Cabinet following their recent meeting with Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Although both DAP and PKR remained tight lipped on the matter, it did little to quell rumours that either would be in the running to head a speculated Ministry of Sarawak Affairs that could be set up under the Prime Minister’s Department.
