Bersih 2.0 calls for suspension of EC’s top seven


KUALA LUMPUR: Bersih 2.0 wants an immediate suspension of the Election Commission’s top seven, and investigations into their conduct during the 14th General Election.

In its proposal on electoral and parliamentary reforms submitted to the Institutional Reform Com­mittee, the group’s acting chairman Shahrul Aman Mohd Saari said while work had already begun on the 1MDB issue, there was an urgent need for electoral reforms to follow suit.
