IPOH: Perak DAP could get a bigger share of the state executive councillor posts in the state government.

A source close to the state government said there would be 10 exco posts in the line-up, with DAP expected to take four posts, followed by Amanah (three), PKR (two) and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (one).

He said this was because DAP won the most state seats in GE14 with 18, followed by Amanah (six), PKR (four) and PBBM (one).

"All these is pending consent from the Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah," he said.

In a press conference held Tuesday (May 15) night here, Mentri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu said the exco shortlist had already been prepared and would be presented to Sultan Nazrin on Wednesday.

Ahmad Faizal said the maximum number of excos allowed was 10 and he would try to accommodate all parties.
