Penang DAP member detained for sedition released on police bail

GEORGE TOWN: Penang DAP's Jeffrey Chew, who was detained under the Sedition Act for sharing a video clip which allegedly tarnished the image of Pakatan Harapan, has been released on police bail.

Chew, who is the state assistant treasurer, was arrested on Wednesday (April 25) at around 4.30pm after he was called in for questioning. He was released on police bail later in the evening.
