PUTRAJAYA: Umno has expelled the 16 members who filed an application for a judicial review in the Kuala Lumpur High Court Friday (April 20) to have the party dissolved because of an alleged violation of the party constitution.

Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor (pic) said their action was clearly in violation of clause 20.7 of the party constitution, which stipulates that any member who goes to court over party matters would automatically lose their membership.
