ALOR SETAR: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has increased patrols in Langkawi waters following reports that a boat carrying dozens of Rohingya refugees is heading for Malaysia.
Maritime Northern Region director First Admiral Rozali Mohd Said said operations had been increased in the Straits of Malacca and the Andaman Sea.
