Apply to university with a few phone taps
KUALA LUMPUR: School-leavers can now apply to enrol into their dream university and seek scholarships with just a few taps on their mobile phones, says Deputy Education Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon.
He launched “StudyBO” (Study Best Offer), a one-stop education mobile application with functions to apply and look up private institutions and scholarships they offer.
Chong said StudyBO provides information about private higher learning institutions in Malaysia, including courses, scholarships and bursaries that are available.
“All students need to do is upload their SPM, STPM or UEC results through the mobile application and it will enable them to obtain information about courses and scholarships,” he said during the launch of the app at SMJK Confucian yesterday.
StudyBO is available for download on iOS and Android.
