Man arrested after allegedly offering RM3,000 bribe during raid

 SIBU: A man who allegedly possessed 3,800 cartons of contraband cigarettes worth about RM90,000 was arrested after he tried to bribe the raiding team with RM3,000.

Supt Sanudin Isa, commanding officer of the 10th General Operation Force (GOF), said the owner of a premises in Jalan Sie Poi Kieng here allegedly offered the team RM3,000 as an inducement so that they would not take action against him.
