KUANTAN: An unemployed woman has pleaded not guilty at a magistrate’s court here to inducing another woman into investing nearly RM40,000 in a non-existent gold investment scheme.
Umi Morny Mokhtar, 32, nodded her head calmly when the charge was read out to her and pleaded not guilty before magistrate Tengku Eliana Tuan Kamaruzaman here yesterday.
