PETALING JAYA: A former Royal Gold investment company director has been charged with taking RM516,700 in deposits illegally from two investors.
Datuk Yap Yee Hoo, 62, is accused of receiving a RM446,700 deposit from lawyer Tan Cheng Tat, 51, without a valid licence under Section 10 of the Financial Services Act 2013 (Act 758) in Bandar Utama here between July and November 2014.
