Langkawi SkyCab: Cable car system restored

LANGKAWI: The Langkawi cable car system is now fully operational following a technical glitch that left 88 people trapped in the SkyCab gondolas and more than a thousand stranded at the various stations.

Fire Supt Mohd Fadzlullah Mohd Noor of the Langkawi Fire and Rescue Department said all the stranded tourists were being brought down in stages and that repairs were completed at about 10.50pm on Sunday.
