BEIJING: The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) will be revamped to allow for more flexibility in the training and hiring of qualified technical staff to cater to the civil aviation industry, said Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
The Transport Minister said the department would be renamed the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) after the revamp process. It is expected to begin operating by Feb 14.
