Wan Junaidi: Ministry has not been officially notified of Penang tunnel project

PETALING JAYA: The Natural Resources and Environment Ministry says it was not officially notified of the proposed Penang undersea tunnel project and that it has not approved any Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) on it.

Its minister Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaffar (pic) said that whatever information the ministry has gathered so far has been through the media.
