Najib: We will not compromise with US on Islam's sanctity

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will not compromise with the United States (US) on matters involving the sanctity of Islam, despite having multi-dimensional diplomatic relations with the super power, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said.

Referring to US President Donald Trump's announcement to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the Prime Minister said it contravened the principle of sovereignty as contained in the United Nations Resolution.
