Flood situation in Perak improves, over 900 evacuees return home

IPOH: The flood situation in Perak has vastly improved with 167 victims left at three evacuation centres in the Manjung and Muallim districts as at 4pm Saturday.

State Malaysian Civil Defence Department director Kolonel Mohd Noor Hassan Ashari Sulaiman said there were 69 people still taking shelter at Sekolah Agama Tebuk Yan with another 91 victims at SK Sungai Batu in the Manjung district.
