BUTTERWORTH: A lorry driver sped off with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers in hot pursuit after he refused to stop for inspection at a traffic light junction in Taman Bagan.
The driver, who was transporting sand, beat the red light at Jalan Chain Ferry and even attempted to ram into the JPJ’s four-wheel-drive vehicle on several occasions during the 12.30pm drama.
