Kelantan Speaker and deputy slammed for debate rejection

KOTA BARU: Kelantan Umno Youth has demanded that the state assembly Speaker and his deputy step down for denying Opposition leader Datuk Nozula Mat Diah his democratic right to participate in the debate at the state assembly and for dismissing his weeping as “mere acting.”

State Umno Youth chief Mohammad Azam Ismail said it was unbecoming of the Speaker and his deputy to insult the longest-serving elected representative in such a manner.
