KUCHING: Sarawak wants Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to head the Federal Government's negotiating team to resolve outstanding issues relating to Sarawak's rights under the Malaysia Agreement.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said the state's three deputy chief ministers – Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Tan Sri James Masing – would be representing the high-level task force unanimously approved by the state assembly last Thursday (Nov 9) following a motion tabled by Uggah.
