Khairy: TN50 is not just ‘empty talk’

KUALA LUMPUR: The National Transformation (TN50) programme is not mere “empty talk” as alleged by its detractors.

Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said those who said that TN50 was just hogwash were merely politicising the programme launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

“This new vision is essential to bring the country one step further after Vision 2020,” he said, in reference to the programme to make Malaysia a developed country by the year 2020.

“We need input from the people to tell us what they want and how we can carry it out together 30 years down the road,” Khairy said during a TN50 dialogue session with the Felda community here on Tuesday.
