Mah: 'In ensuring the successful implementation of this sustainability scheme, the Government has set up the Malaysian Palm Oil Certification Council.'

KUALA LUMPUR: The Penang government should start re-evaluating all hillside projects on the island in order to identify potential risks, said Gerakan president Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong (pic).

He said the landslide in Tanjung Bungah on Saturday could have been prevented had the state government listened to the objections by a few quarters (on hillside development), including the Tanjung Bungah assemblyman from DAP Teh Yee Cheu.
