Judicial review not proper method to challenge redelineation exercise, court hears

KUALA LUMPUR: Objections to an Election Commission (EC) redelineation exercise should go before a local enquiry not a court, the High Court was told.

Senior federal counsel Datuk Amarjeet Singh, acting for the EC, said the proper forum to raise concerns on such matters in the EC's Proposed Recommendations was through a local inquiry.
