PETALING JAYA: Members of the Group of Eight Developing Islamic Countries (D-8) need to revisit and renew their political commitment to the organisation as it marks its 20th anniversary this year, said Datuk Seri Anifah Aman.

In a statement after the 17th session of the D-8 Council of Ministers in Istanbul, Turkey, Thursday (Oct 19), the Foreign Minister said more needs to be done despite tangible outcomes from co-operative measures, such as the Visa Agreement in 2010, the Customs Agreement in 2011, and the D-8 Preferential Trade Agreement (D-8 PTA).
