G25 seeking judicial review of book ban

PETALING JAYA: The G25 group of prominent Malays has filed an application for leave to apply for judicial review to quash the ban of its book, titled Breaking the Silence: Voices of Moderation – Islam in a Constitutional Democracy.

In a statement on Monday (Oct 16), the group – which is mostly comprised of retired high-ranking civil servants – said it had filed the application at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Friday (Oct 13).
