Hotel group treats children and old folk to a good time

SEREMBAN: It was a Deepavali to remember for 43 orphans, single mothers and senior citizens at the Nanthisar Home here as staff from Port Dickson-based Lexis Hotel Group turned up to bring them some joy ahead of the Festival of Lights celebrations.

The residents of the welfare home, aged between two and 88, were treated to a delectable spread of festive dishes, including briyani rice, mutton peratal (dry mutton curry), koli methi (boneless chicken in fenugreek leaves), chicken tikka (grilled boneless chicken), samosas and muruku.
