MACC objects to setting up the National Integrity and Good Governance Department

SUNGAI PETANI: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has objected to plan to set up the National Integrity and Good Governance Department (JITN), saying the budget can be better used to improve existing enforcement agencies.

MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad said the budget allocation for the new department can be better utilised by improving existing agencies and the welfare of its staff.
