KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is seeking approval from the Attorney-General (A-G) to initiate defamation proceedings against Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

Chief commissioner Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad said the commission submitted its request to the A-G’s Chambers yesterday.
