KUALA LUMPUR: The Merdeka spirit was palpable throughout the country, with people coming out in force to mark the 60th National Day at the respective state-level celebrations.
The colourful and stately ceremonies brought citizens together to honour the forefathers’ efforts that led to the birth of a sovereign state in 1957.
