KUALA LUMPUR: A retired teacher was charged in a Sessions Court here with two counts of giving support and possessing items related to the Islamic State (IS) in his Facebook account early this month.

Abu Hasan Chan Abdullah was accused under Section 130J(1)(a) of the Penal Code with providing support to IS through a Facebook account under the name of Abu Hasan Chan.
