Driver killed, two others critically hurt after car smashes into tree

KOTA KINABALU: A man was killed and two others were seriously injured when their car hit a tree in an oil palm plantation in the Kinabatangan district on Saturday afternoon.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Services Department operations centre chief Khatizah Rahaban said another passenger in the car sustained minor injuries while the fifth person escaped unscathed in the 1.15pm mishap.
