Carcosa to host ‘road to Merdeka’

KUALA LUMPUR: Never-before-seen artefacts on the untold history of Malaya’s road to Merdeka will be showcased at a special exhibition centre in the vacant Carcosa Seri Negara.

The inaugural exhibition called “Jalan Merdeka” to be launched on Aug 31, will go beyond the official story of Malaysia’s independence to explore rarely-told perspectives, including those of the labour communities and opposition forces, the impact of the Cold War, and others.
