Long queues at venues due to spectator screening, says IGP

KUALA LUMPUR: The long queues outside event venues for the SEA Games here are due to the screening of spectators before they are allowed to enter, the Inspector-General of Police said.

“We have had no untoward incident during the SEA Games so far and we want to keep it that way,” Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar told reporters at Bukit Aman yesterday.
