A MAN threatened to rape a woman after she caught him stealing mangoes from her house in Taman Wahyu, Kuala Lumpur, reported Guang Ming Daily.
The woman recorded the man and his accomplice in the act at about 6.39pm on Saturday. When the man saw her recording the video with her phone, he became abusive and threatened her.
He then challenged her to lodge a police report. Before leaving the house with his accomplice on a motorcycle, he threw some of the mangoes into her house.
After uploading the video on social media, the woman lodged a police report.
Sentul OCPD Asst Comm R. Munusamy said police have detained two suspects, aged 30 and 36, over the case.

The two, known only as Daub, 63, and Borhannudin, 62, could be seen cleaning the street between 7am and 10am.
Daub said they decided to start cleaning because they found the street dirty. On average, they collected 20kg of rubbish daily.
They also said that they were just doing their part to keep the environment clean.
